Film Capabilities

Looking for a relaxing and intimate environment for your next film screening? The Motor House theater boasts a number of amenities, including state of the art equipment, flexible seating, and bar options.

  • Vivitek 5190HD projector (full HD projector)
  • Comprehensive CSW-HDBT300 Switcher with 8-inputs (HDMI, VGA, and DVI compatible)

Catering

Lessees are required to submit the name and contact information of the event caterer. MHPS will provide a designated staging area. MHPS does not have refrigeration, an ice maker or any way of cooking/ warming food.

Motor House approved caterers include Station North Arts CaféThe Pantry Catering, Dooby’s, and Class Act Catering.

Parking

In addition to on-street parking a lot accessible to the public is open during business and day time hours to the rear of Motor House. The lot entrance is on Maryland Avenue just south of 20th Street and users must pay at a pay on foot machine. The entire rear parking lot on the south side of 20th Street between Howard and Maryland is available to the public for an hourly fee after 5pm. The lot can be rented on a non-reserved basis for a flat fee in negotiation with the parking lot owner.
