THE COAL SKUTTLE LEGACY
May 21 - June 19
THE COAL SKUTTLE LEGACY EXHIBITION
This exhibition will focus on Baltimore artists whose work focuses on the culture, tradition, and artistry of Baltimore. Artists of all experience levels are welcome to apply. Black artists are strongly encouraged to apply.
“Baltimore’s artists carry a long standing tradition of utilizing bold color stories and intricate line work to create imagery rooted in preserving their cultural identity. As we are highlighting folks well established in the arts, it is also important that we catalog early works of emerging Black artists in Baltimore” – Ky Vassor, Guest Curator
