ArtsCentric is a color-conscious organization committed to re-examining traditional roles in the arts, advancing original stories of minority cultures, and fostering educational advancement to strengthen the community through the power of theatre.
5:00pm – 5:15pm: Intermission
5:15pm – 5:45pm Act 2 – Jamal Moore discusses his musical projects and how each intersects with his life. How does life influence his art, how does his art influence his life? Solo performance will include a 15 min composition with structured improvisation and talkback.
5:45pm – 6:00pm: Intermission
6:00pm – 6:45pm: Act 3 – Art as a tool for social change featuring Sheila Gaskins, Kibibi Ajanku, CJay Philip,
Ada Pinkston, and Rosiland Cauthen (moderator)
6:45pm – 7:00pm: Intermission
7:00pm – 8:00pm: Act 4 – GRL PWR hosts a panel discussion on the sustainability, equity, and structure of DIY culture in Baltimore. The panel will be moderated by Kotic Couture and will include local curators Abdu Ali of Kahlon, Jessica Hyman (Trillnatured) of Version, Que Pequeño of Station North Sad Boi, and GRL PWR members Pangelica & Amy Reid.
